1. Agreement To These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Debtides mobile application and related services. By using Debtides, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your location. If you use Debtides for another person or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for them.
2. What Debtides Does
Debtides is a personal planning and tracking tool. It helps you model debt scenarios, estimate payment timelines, record payments, and visualize principal, interest, and remaining balances.
Debtides is not a lender, credit bureau, bank, debt-management company, financial adviser, attorney, accountant, or tax adviser. Results are estimates based on the information and assumptions you provide. They may differ from lender statements because of compounding methods, fees, posting dates, rounding, calendar conventions, rate changes, or other contract terms. Always verify important figures with the applicable lender or a qualified professional.
3. Local-First Use And Accounts
You may use Debtides without creating an account. Debt information is created and stored on your device first. An account is optional and is used for eligible cloud backup, synchronization, and restoration features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Before signing out, Debtides attempts to synchronize claimed local changes. If synchronization fails, the app will warn you before removing account-owned data from the device.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, And Cancellation
Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The price and currency displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play at checkout control and may include applicable taxes. Unless cancelled, the store charges your payment method each billing period under its rules.
You can manage or cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Refunds are handled by the store and subject to its policies. Debtides does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Restore Purchases asks the applicable store and RevenueCat to re-check prior transactions. Restoration requires the same store account and may require the Debtides account that previously claimed the entitlement.
6. Purchase Ownership
A purchase made without a Debtides account may initially be associated with the app-store identity and this app installation. If you later sign in, the entitlement may be claimed by that Debtides account so it can be recognized on other eligible devices. Once claimed, another account cannot reuse the same purchase merely by using the same device.
7. Your Information And Content
You retain ownership of the debt details, schedules, profile information, and other content you enter. You give Debtides a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, synchronize, restore, and support the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of information you enter. Do not enter information you are not authorized to use.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Debtides or interfere with its operation.
- Do not reverse engineer, circumvent purchase controls, or access the service in an unauthorized way except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not upload malicious code, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Do not overload, probe, or disrupt Debtides or its service providers.
9. Third-Party Services
Debtides relies on third parties including Apple or Google for distribution and billing, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, and Supabase for optional authentication, profile storage, and cloud synchronization. Their services and terms may also apply. Debtides is not responsible for outages or changes outside its reasonable control.
10. Availability And Changes
We may maintain, improve, add, remove, or modify features and limits. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse. We will not intentionally remove your local data without an in-app action or a disclosed service process, but you should maintain any backup you consider important.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debtides is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that calculations, projections, synchronization, or availability will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing in Debtides is a promise that a lender will offer, approve, modify, or accept any loan or payment arrangement.
12. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debtides and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, savings, opportunities, or financial decisions arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Debtides during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
13. Account Termination And Deletion
You may stop using Debtides at any time. Signed-in users can request account deletion from the profile screen. Account deletion removes the cloud account and associated synced data as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription, which must be managed through the store.
14. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as Debtides changes. The in-app effective date will be updated. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
